Bulgaria Fishing Holidays specialize in Big carp and superb fishing in the beautiful nature of Montana Lake in the valley of the mountains around Sofia.
This beautiful lake is about 16-18 acres and average depth is 15 feet with common and mirror carp to 72lb+ ( we stocked 3 different carp over 70lb)

Common carp: 62lb 14oz ( 28,3 kilo )
Mirror carp: 60lb 4oz ( 27,4 kilo )
Sturgeon: 43lb ( 19,5 kilo )
Catfish: 57lb 12oz ( 26 kilo )
Koi: 15lb ( 6,8 kilo )
Grasscarp: 49lb ( 22,3 kilo )

About 90% of all anglers in 2007 banked a PB fish. So we're sure we have the right carp venue for the modern carp angler and you will experience some of the best carp fishing in the world. The fish in the lake are stunning looking and about 50% of the fish still haven’t bin on the bank.

NEW STOCKING: Winter 2008. We are stocking minimum 100 carp more in the lake. The first new carp are already stocked. See them in the gallery. Biggest new stocking this winter is until now 49lb common.
We are looking forward to see what the lake will bring in 2009. And most of all we are looking forward to see many of you again. We are happy to see that about half of all anglers are coming back again and again.
